Earthquakes cruise to easy 6-2 victory over the Pirates of Pleasanton

SAN RAMON -- The Earthquakes of San Ramon took on the Pirates of Pleasanton in an indoor match this Tuesday. The Earthquakes came out quickly with Jillian Weber scoring within the first 5 minutes of the game. The first half goalie for the Earthquakes was Sarah Kamp, who blanked the Pirates for the first half, stopping any and all shots from the Pleasanton team.

Jillian Weber took over the goalie duties for the second half and did a nice job of protecting the goal. Two shots did make it past Jillian, but the goals were not much of a concern as the final score ended up 6-2 in favor of the Earthquakes.

Like the first game, the Earthquakes scoring was spread out amongst the team. This time, there were 5 different girls who scored, Jillian Weber, Riti Sachdeva, Sarah Kamp and Brittany Jimena all scoring one goal and Kaitlin Lord was the high scorer for the game with two goals.

All in all, this was a very good game for the Earthquakes, who played well in all aspects of the game. Next week will be our turn to play two games in one day, which should result in exhausted little girls.
